Avoiding Crime is Often the First and Only Necessary Option
- 30 US dollars$30
Using a firearm for protection is often a necessity, but situations that call for this can often be avoided long before they arise. Whether it's while you are in your home, traveling abroad (or domestic travel), browsing the internet or even just out for a day of shopping, many of the incidents that could become dangerous can be avoided. This class is designed to teach students how to protect themselves before danger becomes apparent and to be able to avoid situations that can make them vulnerable in the first place. If you aren't in a position of vulnerability, the majority of violent and internet crimes can be mitigated. Lead instructor, Dallas Walters, has a unique skill set for teaching this class. During deployments with the Army, he was trained and executed practices that were designed to prevent surveillance from enemies, spot potentially dangerous situations, mitigate dangers presented while traveling and even creating safety and security around camp locations. As well, he is a trained and experiences Cyber Security expert in the civilian world with over 20 years of experience in this field. The internet is continuing to be a wild world but you can do some very simple things to prevent attacks on your resources and identity theft. This class is affordable and necessary for those not seasoned in these areas. The base price is $30 but if you register as a couple, the class cost goes down to two for $50!!! Larger group rates can be negotiated as well. Video conference options will be available as well but these will be for $35 in order to cover shipping of class materials.
